“From Red to Black, A Business Turnaround” – Bob Curry
Bob Curry is a business turnaround specialist, business coach, and a published author. He has more than 30 years of successful business experience in senior management positions in both public and private companies as the CEO, President, CFO, and COO for businesses with annual sales of up to $1 billion. He is a nationally known turnaround/profit improvement specialist. He completed three financial turnarounds as President/CEO for businesses ranging in size from $100 to $1 billion in annual sales and over seventy more successful turnarounds with his turn-around management and business consulting firm, CEO Results Coaching.
Recently, Bob has added business coach to his resume, coaching a group of 15 business owners, managing partners of law/accounting firms, etc. Bob believes that business coaching is very similar to turn-around management only most of the business owners’ companies are not in a distressful financial situation.
The role of a business coach is to mentor the owners through guidance, support, accountability, and encouragement to improve the profitability of their company as well as the quality of their personal and professional life. Business coaching helps owners of small and medium-sized businesses with their sales, marketing, management, team-building and so much more. Most importantly, a business coach will make the owner work on his business rather than in his company.
Mr. Curry obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting from Waynesburg University and master’s degree in taxation from Widener University.
Mr. Curry will be an instructor this fall at City College (Fort Lauderdale campus) in the business department responsible for teaching federal income tax courses.
Mr. Curry was recently interviewed by Blanca Greenstein on her “Laws of Life” internet video series asking Bob about his first book, “From Red to Black, A Business Turnaround.”
