EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN BASIC DIPLOMA
Earning an EMT Basic Diploma from City College gives graduates the critical necessities to become a certified EMT. Not to mention, graduates emerge certified in Basic Life Support. This program will also help students prepare for the EMT and Paramedic licensure examination. Once a student completes the program, they will be eligible and prepared to apply to take the EMT Certification.

The Emergency Medical Technician Diploma is the fastest route for students seeking to become an EMT. In this 28 week program, students will gain necessary knowledge and training through lecture, 100 hours of practical labs and 96 hours of clinical rotations. They will be trained with the knowledge, skills, and discipline required to deliver critical care under pressure, communicate clearly and effectively, as well as advocate for their patients.
