The City College’s Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration is designed to cover a wide range of skills, including courses in healthcare law and ethics, health information systems, regulatory requirements and medical technology. Students will learn the basics of the U.S. healthcare system, how to develop effective strategies for complex business challenges and real-world people and communication skills.  After all, working in healthcare management means working with people from all walks of life.

PREREQUISITES

To be eligible, applicants must have achieved a minimum of an Associate degree and/or be in Junior standing at City College or have earned a combination of life credit, credit by means of examination and transfer credit totaling a minimum of 72 credits.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
  •  All classes take place online and in asynchronous format. This allows students to have the flexibility of completing the degree on their own time, with certain deadlines for assignments and/or discussions posts.
  • Start dates available every 10 weeks.
  • Financial Aid available to those who qualify.
  • Students have the option of enrolling either on a full-time or part-time basis.
  • Expedited transfer credit evaluation process for prior education.
