EMS Week: Frank Montenegro

May 19-25, 2019, is the 45th annual National EMS Week and City College would like to take the time to feature some of our wonderful EMS Instructors as well as our EMS students.

Meet City College Miami campus EMS instructor, Frank Montenegro. Mr. Montenegro is currently a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Miami Dade County Fire Rescue.

Mr. Montenegro has a total of 14 years in the Fire Service. He chose the Fire Service because growing up he played sports and loved the concept of teamwork. Being a firefighter gives him a chance not only of being part of a team yet serve his community in a time of need. This gives Mr. Montenegro great satisfaction and fulfillment.

This week we honor the dedication you provide in the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s “front line.”
