Gainesville Campus Emergency Notification

HURRICANE UPDATES

July 6, 2021

  • City College- GAINESVILLE CAMPUS- will be closed tomorrow (July 7th) and there will be NO classes scheduled for the day due to Tropical Storm Elsa. The campus will re-open on Thursday, July 8th at 8:30 am. Stay safe everyone!

Sept. 4, 2019

  • Attention students, the Gainesville campus will reopen on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019. Classes will be held and all faculty and staff are to report to work as usual. Normal operations will be resumed.

Remember, Hurricane season is June 1 – November 30. Be prepared, visit the sites below:

    Alachua County Emergency Management actively tracks tropical storms in the area that is west of 60 degrees west longitude (Leeward Islands area) and south of 35 degrees north latitude (Cape Hatteras area) and will update the website as appropriate. Storms outside this area are monitored but are not added to the tracking website.
