My Miami StoryOn Tuesday, October 23rd, the Education department welcomes Willae Falana on campus to host a My Miami Story conversation among City College students and the larger community. We will discuss the effect multilingualism has on residents, social well-being and the economic development of Miami-Dade County. Specifically:

How are we preparing non-multilingual minority youth for the workforce of the future?

This will be a relaxed gathering for us to share and connect around our experiences living, studying and working in Miami-Dade. We’ll share our personal stories about how we came to Greater Miami, why we stay here and explore what each of us can do to make this community a better place to live.

Please join us! Lend your voice to a countywide conversation about who we are as a community, where we’re going and how we can get there.
